The Jeff Hill Racing team closed out the 2025 Kenyon Midget Series season with an impressive run to the finish. The team posted feature wins in four of the final seven races and four fast times during qualifying.
“We will have all five cars competing this year,” Hill said. “At the end of the day we will have five fast drivers in the cars.”
Returning drivers include Landon Brown, Kyle Sheard, Eli Fox and Jase Petty with Seth Tozer joining the team for select races.
“We just want to be dominant,” Hill said. “Really things came together at the end of the year.”
Hill said the team is hoping to secure podium finishes in every race in 2026 and compete for a championship. He said the entire team is looking forward to traveling to first-time venues Lincoln Park and Toledo Speedway.
“We always run good at the new tracks,” Hill said. “Everyone is the same at a new track, it's a level playing field.”
Brown, who missed the first four races of the season because of an injury at the Fort Wayne Rubble came back to win three times. Brown got his first series win at Kalamazoo Speedway and followed that up with wins at Salem and Anderson speedways.
“With three wins last year, we should be considered as someone competing for a championship,” he said. “The five car team has helped all of us grow as a team and individuals.”
Brown said he is looking forward to returning to the Berlin and Salem tracks and Anderson where he closed out the season with a win and second place finish.
Sheard recorded his first career win on the final race weekend at Anderson Speedway. “Having five cars on the team we're looking to be consistent and share information,” he said.
Last year he recorded four podium finishes with strong runs at Berlin, Kalamazoo and Owosso. Sheard also set fast time during qualifying four times.
Sheard said as the 2025 season was winding down he took a break away from racing after a disappointing showing at Salem Speedway.
“I stayed away after two bad races to clear my head,” he said. “Winning at Anderson has rebuilt my confidence.”
Sheard said he is looking forward to the two races on the Lincoln Park dirt oval. “I'm a dirt guy at heart,” he said.
