Sportsdrome opens final run to titles

With just three races remaining to the 2025 Kenyon Midget Series season, veteran campaigner Dameron Taylor is marching toward a 4th title. Taylor won for the fifth time this season at Salem Speedway and enters the race at the Sportsdrome with a 139-point margin over Isaac Johnson. The Indianapolis driver has won Kenyon Midget feature events a record 38-times.

It could be a make or break weekend for Johnson who will be looking to close the point gap with Taylor.

Taylor won an exciting opening race of the season at the Sportsdrome with Evan Hammond coming home in second with Johnson claiming the final podium spot. Taylor was also the fast qualifier during the first visit of the year to the southern Indiana track.

Redline Ace rookie of the year contender Andrew Wall finished fourth in the first Sportsdrome race and holds a slim 16-point lead over Clayton Bohanon.

Evan Patton is currently third in the rookie points after missing the opening race of the year.

Bohanon finished seventh in the season opening race.

Landon Brown, who has won two races in the past few weeks will be making his first start at the Sportsdrome.

His Jeff Hill Racing team mate Jase Petty finished six in the opening race of the season and Kyle Sheard came home in fifth.

Eli Fox finished in third and seventh in the Salem doubleheader for Hill Racing and Jase Petty also scored a podium finish.

Trisdon Brown is coming off two strong runs at Salem Speedway finishing fourth and sixth.

The Sportsdrome oval is considered to be similar to the Indianapolis Speedrome, which will be hosting the penultimate race with the season finally taking place at Anderson Speedway with the 500 Sprint Car Tour.

Johnson recorded his first career victory with the series at the opening event at the Speedrome.
