ANDERSON, IN - The Kenyon Midget Series team of Jeff Hill Racing continued their successful season sweeping the KRJ Racing Products Twin 25s at Anderson Speedway.
Dameron Taylor captured his fourth championship and Andrew Wall claimed the Redline Ace Rookie of the Year honors.
It was the Jeff Hill racing team's fifth victories in the 12 races contested in 2025.
Landon Brown set fast time during K&K Marketing qualifying and started from the pole position following the redraw. Brown's teammate Kyle Sheard was second quick followed by a strong run by Ryan Shilkuski.
Brown took the lead at the start chased Shilkuski, Wall, Evan Hammond and Taylor. Sheard passed both Hammond and Shilkuski on lap 12 and the running order remained unchanged.
For Brown it was his third win of the season with Wall, Taylor, Sheard and Hammond rounding out the top five.
“This is such a physical race track,” Brown said of Anderson Speedway. “To win at Anderson is special.”
It was a tough night for Isaac Johnson, who entered the night second in points. During qualifying he suffered a mechanical problem and started from the tail of the 19-car field. He was caught up in a final lap incident in turn one with Evan Patton, ending both of their nights.
In the second feature, Wall took the early lead but Sheard made the pass on the second circuit with Taylor moving up to the second spot by the tenth circuit. Taylor made a strong move on the opening lap going from the bottom of the track to the high groove and picking up several spots.
Sheard became the fourth first-time winner in 2025 followed by Taylor, Wall, Eli Fox and Landon Brown.
“This is awesome,” Sheard said of his victory after coming close in the past. “This is crazy for me. I was a little concerned as I approached a lapped car because I wasn't sure of what they were going to do.”
