By capturing the Redline Ace rookie of the year honors with the Kenyon Midget Series, Ohio teenager Andrew Wall kept his racing dream alive. “The last two races at Anderson kept my racing career alive,” he explained. “I had a deal with my mother that if I didn't get rookie of the year, I would stop racing.”

Wall said the expense and time involved in traveling to the different racing venues required the making of a deal.

He was able to lead the rookie point standings for most of the year in a close battle with Clayton Bohanon.

Wall took the point lead after the opening race at the Sportsdrome, but Bohanon claimed the top spot following the first Anderson race and at the Indianapolis Speedrome.

Wall used a fourth place finish at Paragon and a sixth in the second Anderson race to reclaim the rookie point lead. A lead he would not surrender for the remainder of the year.

The two top finishing rookies placed fourth and fifth in overall points.

“I'm really proud of how everybody stuck with me during the year,” Wall said. “I got a lot of coaching from everyone with BHR.”

He finished the year with podium finishes at the last two Anderson races, his best showing during the 2025 campaign.

“At each of the three Anderson races, you could see that my performance was improving,” Wall said.

During the year he captured two KRJ Racing Products heat race wins and set fast time during K&K Marketing qualifying at Owosso Speedway.

“I really liked Owosso,” Wall said. “I also like racing on the dirt at Paragon.”

Wall said his plans are to run the entire 2026 Kenyon Midget Series schedule with BHR and look for other racing opportunities.

Prior to running the Kenyon Midget Series, Wall had been racing for the past three years in go karts and consistently found success in the venue.

“I started out on X box and that got me hooked on racing,” he said.

Wall tested in 2024 at Anderson Speedway and noticed the G forces in the middle of the corners and was looking forward to the challenge of competing in a Kenyon Midget.
